The Grammy-winning artist is preparing for a substantial cinematic onslaught in 2026, starting with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, Charli embodies what she describes as a twisted version of her own persona.
It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, the star remarked.
She clarified in a conversation: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept came from the expectation to create one.
A Sneak Peek into The Project
The debut trailer, unveiled on Thursday, combines authentic footage from her live performances with made-up backstage scenes.
The Moment is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who revealed that the narrative revolves around a scenario where the singer made entirely different choices during the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.

A Hectic Film Calendar
The film is just one of many future film appearances for Charli, who has starred in three cinematic festival entries in the current year.

Musical Contributions
The month of February will also include the debut of Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will include fresh tracks from the singer.
She is also set to create the soundtrack for the story Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release soon.
