The Brazilian star Extends Apology to The Madrid Club Fans
The forward has netted five goals in ten Spanish league outings so far this term.
The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his response when taken off in the recent intense El Clasico victory.
Vinicius was replaced in the second half and displayed his disappointment by walking immediately off the pitch.
Vinicius subsequently came back to the bench and, after his team's narrow triumph, tried to confront Barça's Lamine Yamal during contentious after the game scenes.
"Now I want to apologise to all the supporters for my reaction when I was replaced in the big match," he posted on his account.
"Similarly to I have said in person during this morning's practice, I also want to express regret anew to my colleagues, the club, and the president.
"At times passion overcomes me because I continuously aim to win and assist my side. My competitive character stems from the affection I feel for this team and each thing it stands for."
He joined Real from his former club in the year 2018 for millions and has scored over a century of strikes in 335 appearances.
But his future in the Madrid is far from certain with speculation in the past few months indicating that Real would think about letting the 25-year-old leave if they obtained a suitable offer.
When the winger was taken off on the match day, TV coverage from coverage provider Dazn captured him remarking: "Always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I go, I'm moving on."
In his latest statement on the platform, Vinicius said: "I commit to keep striving constantly for the good of Real Madrid, as I have done since the very beginning."
